directing a button to find a field

Does anyone know how to link a button to find the field contents on a particular listing. I’ve made a new button (using MAXbuttons) and have put the button’s shortcode in the “listing set up” shortcodes section, but I need to put something in to direct the button to go to the field content (the listing’s email or website for example) . The button is asking for a url to go to. Any ideas as to what I should put in here or whether this can be done at all by this route?
