short code [FIELDLIST] help required

Im posting in general as I believe this may apply to all themes

Theme option > Listing setup > when using the Add New Field > Submission Field

there is a checkbox at the bottom of the form, which states

Show Small List – Enable if this will be displayed in the small [FIELDLIST] shortcode on the listing page.

I have added [FIELDLIST] to the listing page but I couldnt see any change in output of the display page. I then tried adding show=”” for several different fields & custom_fields but still could not see any difference in display output.

is [FIELDLIST] a valid shortcode as it is not in the documentation
