Saved Work on child theme keeps changing and Disapearing

using a child theme of Responsive WordPress. On multiple occasions, after making updates and saving the work, the changes disappear or change to something different, ie; multiple text links were saved on my home page, then the links mysteriously changed to a different look. Also when adding text in the column section, after saving, it disappears. Not sure why this is happening. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
