Image size reducer plugin for Classified Theme

I encountered several issues with the Classified Theme upon installation but I manage to make a work-around with the help of this forum.

However, there’s still one major issues that I need help from you guys – how to reduce or limit image size uploads made by users?

I tried all the plugins you recommend (i think that works for other themes) like imsanity, ewww image, wp image limit but none works. Those plugins work only when using wordpress media uploads as admin, but not on user uploads form.

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
