US county encode and meta search parameters for clickable maps

I wrote this plugin for anyone in need of a link for ‘clickable maps’ like MapSVG- where each state is broken down into Counties.

The problem was two fold. The new listings would not have that ‘County” stored on its own, and secondly there was no meta key for the search query.

This plug in will get the US County (administrative_area_level_2) that a geocoded address belongs to, and store it in a custom field called us_county. It then modifies the search to allow for the meta key ‘us_county’ to pull listings accordingly.

Example: Address is in Louisville, Kentucky.
