Order of coupons on home page

I have the usual list of coupons on the home page and they are of course in date order with the most recent at the top. I want to move a few around. I have tried changing the “date created” date of the coupon and also unpublishing it and then republishing but it still uses the original date order. I have tried changing the SKU but it seems to do nothing. Any ideas?
