Image link and space between image and text

Hi all, some help would be much appreciated if possible. I need to try and make the site I’m working on look a little ‘tidier.’ The web address is http://www.itsfirst.co.uk The two images at the top have been created using the listing carousel (there’ll obviously be many more images soon!) What I’d like to be able to do is get the picture to link to the product shown. At the minute I have a camera logo and a magnifying glass logo when hovering over the pictures. I’m fairly sure I read about this on the forums somewhere but I can’t find the answer now. And secondly I’d like to reduce the gap between the picture and the text. Any help would be appreciated!
