Hello,
As title says, Geolocation seems to have been removed from unsecured origins in Chrome 50, and http can no longer be used to obtain geo data. Any thoughts or suggestions on how this should be handled other then stop using chrome =) ?
Moving towards HTTPs is the only option I presume? But does it have to be the whole site, or can it just be homepage and searchpage perhaps?
Starting with Chrome 50, Chrome no longer supports obtaining the user’s location using the HTML5 Geolocation API from pages delivered by non-secure connections. This means that the page that’s making the Geolocation API call must be served from a secure context such as HTTPS.
