Cashback Deal Stacking

Cashback Theme only. Show members everything they can save on one purchase, added up: your cashback, a voucher code, the member price or points of a loyalty scheme they hold, and the cashback their credit or debit card pays on top.

Each store page gets two new parts:

  • Voucher codes — the codes that work alongside the cashback, each with a Copy & shop button that copies the code and goes through your tracked Shop now link, so claims and payouts work as they always have.
  • Your total saving — a small calculator in the right-hand column. The visitor types what they plan to spend and sees each saving on its own line, the total, and what share of the basket that is. Points are shown separately ("+102 points, worth $1.02") because they are not money off today.

A signed-in member who has ticked the cards they hold sees their total. A visitor, or a member who has not ticked anything yet, sees the best case across every scheme and card you have listed, with a line inviting them to sign in or tick their cards.

How the sum works

Discounts are not interchangeable: a percentage taken before a voucher is worth more than the same percentage taken after it. So the order is fixed and the same everywhere:

  1. Member price — the best loyalty-scheme discount comes off the basket first.
  2. Voucher code — the single code that saves most comes off next. Free delivery and no-code deals are listed but never counted.
  3. What the member pays is what is left.
  4. Cashback — your rate for the store, on what they pay.
  5. Card cashback — the best card they hold, on what they pay.
  6. Points — on what they pay, on their own line.

Only codes listed on the store count. The calculator never assumes a code from elsewhere, because most affiliate programmes decline cashback when one is used.

Step 1: Switch it on and build your catalogue

Go to Checkout ▸ Cashback claims ▸ Deal stacking.

  • Show voucher codes and the total saving on store pages is on by default. Untick it to hide both parts everywhere.
  • Example basket is the amount the calculator opens on. Members can change it.
  • A voucher code not listed on the store voids the cashback sets the default warning on store pages. A store can override it (Step 2).

Then add your loyalty schemes: the name, points per unit spent (1 for "one point per pound"), the value of one point (0.01 for a penny a point), and a member-price discount if the scheme has one. Leave a figure blank when the scheme has no such thing. A scheme can have points, a member price, or both.

Add your reward credit and debit cards below: the name and the cashback percentage the card pays. Cards count at every store, so there is nothing to attach per store.

The names you type here are what members tick in their account, so use the name printed on the card.

Step 2: Set each store's codes and schemes

Edit a store. Under its Cashback card you will find:

  • Voucher codes — add a row per code: the code itself (leave it blank for a deal that needs no code), the discount type and amount, what it gives in your own words, an expiry date, and any small print. Expired codes drop off the store page by themselves. Up to 20 per store.
  • Deal stacking — tick the loyalty schemes this store takes, and choose what happens with codes from elsewhere: the site default, voids the cashback, or any code may be used.

A store with no codes, no schemes and no cards in the catalogue shows neither part. Nothing is invented.

Step 3: Members tick their cards

In their account, under Cashback, members see Your cards: every scheme and card from your catalogue as a tick box. They tick what they hold and save. From then on every store page works out their total. Cards that are not in your catalogue cannot be added, because there is no rate to count them at.

Demo stores

On the demo, and on sample stores you have not edited, store pages show a fixed set of example codes, a sample "Store rewards club" and two sample cards, so the feature reads as finished. Your own catalogue replaces the samples as soon as you add a scheme or a card.
