How to write, schedule, feature and tidy up the posts on your blog.

Your posts live at PremiumPress ▸ Blog. The screen lists every post with its category, status and date. Use the All, Published, Scheduled, Pending and Draft tabs, the search box, and the sort menu to find one.

Write a post

  1. Click Add post.
  2. Type a Title.
  3. Write the article in Post content. The toolbar has headings, bold, lists, quotes and links. Use the media button above it to add pictures, video or documents inside the article.
  4. Under Featured image, click Choose image. This picture is used on the blog cards and at the top of the post. Landscape images work best.
  5. Set Status to Published to put it live, or leave it as Draft while you work on it.
  6. Click Create post.

To change a post later, click its title in the list, edit it, and click Save changes. Preview shows a draft before it goes live; once published, the button reads View post.

Categories and tags

Tick one or more Categories in the side panel. To add a new one, type it in New category; it is created and ticked when you save.

Each category has a delete button beside it. Deleting removes that category from the whole site straight away, and its posts move to your default category.

Add Tags by typing a word and pressing Enter.

Other options

  • Author — whose name appears on the post.
  • Comments — switch off to stop readers commenting on this post.

Schedule a post

  1. Write the post as usual.
  2. In Date, pick a day and time in the future.
  3. Set Status to Published.
  4. Save.

The post goes live by itself at that time. Until then it is listed under the Scheduled tab (and under All), marked Scheduled.

You can also set a date in the past, for example when copying an older article from another site.

Feature a post

Switch on Featured in the side panel. A featured post is pinned to the top of the blog, above newer posts.

You can also feature posts straight from the list: use the Featured column, or sort by Featured first to see which ones are pinned.

Manage posts in bulk

Tick the posts you want, then choose an action from the bulk menu:

  • Set Published, Set Pending or Set Draft
  • Set Featured or Remove Featured
  • Move to Trash

Trashed posts can be restored from the Trash in Posts ▸ All Posts until the Trash is emptied.

Writers who can't publish

If you give someone an account that can write but not publish, they can still use this screen. When they choose Published, the post is sent to Pending for you to review instead. Open it, check it, and set it to Published yourself.
