It is not always possible to achieve perfectly ‘valid’ site (especially WP site) without losing any functionality.
You should ask yourself, how much does the validation improve your sale conversions and user experience? And on the other side, how are the customers affected if the site does not validate (how does it affect them)?

I see on daily basis site owners spending too much time (and money) on things like SEO and validation, while they should be concentrating on marketing, content/products and service, and complaining that their business is not doing well.

Please, I can’t stress it enough, get your priorities right!
