Updating the theme

Hello,

I just found out that there is no automatic notification in the admin area of a new version of the directory theme.
I have an active website https://strongbacklinks.com/ running Version 7.0
Can I safely update to version 8.9 without losing all listings and settings?

Another question.
When you look at this listing:
https://strongbacklinks.com/listing/slim-geld-lenen/ is there a way to have the link to the website shown next to “add favorites” or another clearly visisble position?
Now you only see the website link when you click on details.
