Temp fix option for missing icons v9+

Most of the v9 users may have noticed that their site icons are no longer being displayed. It's nothing on your end, it's something that needs to be fixed by PP. HOWEVER... For those that would like to have a temp solution for now then you can try the following the instructions in the attached file.

    I’ve attached new instruction to accomplish this a lot easier.
    By just adding a few lines of code to the “#8221; file in your child theme. (you’ll still need your own FA icon kit ID… it’s free)

    The newest file is the second one ().

    This attachment has the same instructions in addition to all stylesheet references.

    Hope this helps.

    @James. Thanks.

    @Marie, @markfail : Thanks. I hope, you consider putting this locally in theme’s files.

    Hi James

    I tried this but couldn’t find a file in my child theme. When I pasted the code into the file in my child theme, I received a critical error…

    There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

    Am I looking in the wrong place for the right file or something else?

    Hello EvieB,

    You need to create the file if you haven’t already. It’s used instead of making changes to the original file (for reasons I’m sure you’re aware of now).

    I’ve attached a copy, but you still need to edit it with your own kit id.

    Thanks so much James! I appreciate that. It seems to be working now but didn’t fix the issue I had with the logos next to the category names on my home page… Something else must have changed itself recently, which I’ve had happen a few times so far! lol

    Kind regards
    Eva
