    Do users have to be registered to add a review – is it in fact managed more like a comment?

    I have create a new custom menu linked to main or top navigation but the My Account link is displaying by default and can’t see where I can delete it as I do not require it

    Please help

    hi,

    Review for the listing author , the user must be logged in.

    for comments, you can set it via WordPress dashboard > settings > discussion

    as for removing the My Account link from the top bar, you will have to edit the file for this as the Header is a static section

    Thank you – so when you say user must be logged in does it require the user to register as a member?

    Thanks Marie – further to the registration is it possible to remove the “listing” related fields and details from the membership / my account page? I only want users to register in order to add a review not to add/edit listings or view orders etc… thanks kindly

    @Vivian
    The file with the reference is a core file.
    If you’re using the default theme, then see if this helps to remove the My Account nav link:
    nav.header-top1 li:nth-child(1) a { display: none; }
