    I am trying to figure out were to edit the newsletter subscribe banner. I don’t see it on my template but it shows up on the home page. Where is this located? I am starting with the dating theme template.

    Thanks

    As far as i can tell it is a toggle on or off. Under Premiumpress menu -> Newslettter->Newsletter Settings->Newsletter Provider, select to disable newsletter in the dropdown menu

    I am using the Directory theme so it may be differnt
    don’t forget to save settings at the bottom

    Actually I am looking for where I can edit that banner. I don’t see it in the template so I am not sure where it is coming from. I want to keep it just change a few things.

    Hello Robert,

    The DA theme has two (2) different pre-built footers available.
    The footer file is eventually called from the child theme. The default child theme footer is called from /DA9/_dating/template/footer-menu.php. This is the location where you will work with the files. Note: Always make backups of any file you will be editing.

    Contents of footer-menu.php.

    <?php
    /*
    * Theme: PREMIUMPRESS CORE FRAMEWORK FILE
    * Url: www.premiumpress.com
    * Author: Mark Fail
    *
    * THIS FILE WILL BE UPDATED WITH EVERY UPDATE
    * IF YOU WANT TO MODIFY THIS FILE, CREATE A CHILD THEME
    *
    * http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
    */
    if (!defined('THEME_VERSION')) {	header('HTTP/1.0 403 Forbidden'); exit; }

    global $CORE, $post;

    get_template_part('framework/elementor/blocks/footer-2');

    ?>

    Make a backup and copy of this file in the same location.
    Change the line get_template_part('framework/elementor/blocks/footer-2'); to get_template_part('_dating/template/FOOTER_FILENAME');

    The file calls the elementor footer template file /DA9/framework/elementor/blocks/footer-2.php.

    Make a copy of the footer-2.php file and add it to the default child theme location /DA9/_dating/template/.

    Name it anything you want, as long as your new footer-menu.php file is calling the correct file.
    Note: FOOTER_FILENAME should be replaced with the name of the custom footer file. Do not add the .php to the line.
