Why does the theme not recognize visitors location and updates immediately the listings distance?

    Hello Ana
A user must first select the Location for the distance to update

is it possible to make that process automatic?

Example: once a user arrives a page, it gets prompt to share their location..?

    Hi Ana,

What theme version number you are using at the moment?

This should be automatic on version 8.1 if you enabled the Geo Location.

I already tested your hint, but there is a problem with the way the theme handles that:

If a user finds a suitable listing (visitor from a search engine) and tries to enter on it, the theme will ask them to share the location and right after send’s him to the homepage.

I think this is against google’s webmaster guidelines and could lead the website into troubles (“cloaking/sneaky redirections” penalization’s)…

Or, at the very least, the visitor could leave your website angry because that redirection or because he (or she) can’t use search to find same listing again…
