And How do I change the background colour of the box (currently grey)

Display settings- Object Box / Item Box Styles- Uncheck Shadow (But it removes the shadow of texts of all Object Boxes). To customize you will have to edit code.

2. I don’t think there is an option in the theme to change the background color of the particular box that you have mentioned. You will have to edit the code, or use another color scheme.
