I am very confused with the page builder and when I add a child theme. When I add the child theme and then the builder, it always shows the default theme.?
What is the steps I need to do in order to work with a child theme and actually modify the text on the child themes homepage?
This is some further info.
I like this setup – http://websiteservicecanada.com/ but would like to change text and make category view #3 ( smaller )
When I enable the builder to make changes to my homepage, this is what happens – http://websiteservicecanada.com/page-homepage/ and now that darn search box is there.
I just want to make a directory without the cramped search box. I thought if I enable a child theme, I could use one that does not have search box and Top Searches under it , but I cannot figure out how to change content without adding the search bar and top searches.
Exact issue here..
I like the set up in the child theme: default https://crosschurches.com/
Not in the build homepage: https://crosschurches.com/page-homepage/
How to edit child theme…
I cannot even find the page in pages?
I found this so this has helped set my page as homepage but not edit default page.
I can work with it to create something similar but I am still struggling to find a way to remove the keyword search box (not needed)…
I dont know why Premiumpress cannot make a simple explanation on how ti use the CHILD themes.
