    Hi,

    I had a look in display settings but drew a blank.

    How do I substitute the word “home” for the house in the standard nav bar?

    Cheers,

    C

    Probably depends on PP theme and child theme.

    Ah, I am not using a child theme – I just started building this morning, using the default theme, cos that looked great for what I needed.

    I suppose I could create a graphic that looks like the text as a quick workaround 🙂

    It’s just a nice to have I guess at this stage – got bigger things to sort out before launch 🙂

    Can you post a link to your site?

    Kind regards,

    Sussed it: I did an image swap plus some custom CSS in the admin box 🙂

    <style>
    .homeli {
    display: block;
    position:relative;
    top: -11px;
    text-indent: -9999px;
    height: 35px;
    width: 70px;
    }
    </style>

    The new graphic:

    Very much a work in progress right now – this is my first SP site and I am only 6 hours in 🙂

    Well, my tip is.. copy the default theme folder, rename it and place it in the same theme folder. Set PP to use your new theme and then if you need to edit anything – edit these files.

    Good advice thanks.

    I have been able to do everything by using custom so far 🙂 I’ll upload the original files to the website as a copy just in case I need anything in a hurry.
