I wanted to display more coupons on the front page so went to look at one of the ways to change it and it recommended editing the home-layout-coupon1.php I clicked into and changed one of the figures and clicked update, it said there was an error contacting the site to check for errors and to update another way, the problem is now this file is totally blank.
will i need to restore a backup or just change the theme and back again
