At the very top of my page (above header/logo) I have a menu and again the exact same menu is below the header/logo. Why is this? and how do I get rid of the first one? Thanks
Look under Display Setup, then scroll down to Theme Adjustments. There you can hide the different menus from displaying.
If you haven’t already, you should also go to the standard WP menus and create/edit/assign menu locations as normal.
they would only be double if you have assigned the same wp menu to them both. This gives you the flexibility to have two menus devoted to two different purposes at the top of the page.
You can go to Appearance – click theme and from there click on customize. Open Navigation in the next page and click -Select- in Top Navigation, save and close to exit.
Another way that may work – in appearance click menus and in Theme Location open top navigation and select the blank area above your menu name then save.
thanks for the input. Errol your answer solved my issue right away. Thanks!
