    Hi,

I keep getting this Google map error.
Geocode Error ZERO RESULTS with Google Maps. Due to special characters. (example á, ñ, etc.)

Is there any way that they can be removed or replaced within directorypress / code. As my directory is targeting Spain, where these special characters are every where.

    Any suggestions?

    Cheers
    Mark.

Ok, I figured out how to hide the error status from the jquery.map js file. Which is fine.

But on the homepage. How can I edit the js file as its called externally, which file is the map called from for the homepage? I gather I can create a local copy and remove the “else statement for geocode error” If only I could locate it.
It seems to be different to the listing pages etc.

If any one knows it would be much appreciated!

    Many thanks-
    Mark.

this was an issue i had to overcome in the new framework by using the long/lat instead of users address, basically there isnt a way around it m afraid without recoding alot of the theme.
