Frontpage search category issue

Hi, I am a user of Directory Theme version 9.1.9 and want to know how I can solve the problem of the category scrolling list of the search engine on the frontpage.

When I add many categories the list is very large and extends as I scroll the mouse down.

In addition, the list is displayed below other objects on the frontpage.

Is there any way to solve this problem by modifying a template file or waiting for a next update?
