I’m clearly being a bit thick, but how do you actually update? 😳

I believe automatic update for responsive themes is working now. We should only update a parent theme. We should not activate it. Activating it, causes issues with child themes, because those will require tweaking changes each time. Automatic update is quite effortless.

Mark I am not sure if you saw my post regarding my migration issues with images/custom fields:

    http://www.premiumpress.com/forums/topic/premiumpress-non-responsive-to-responsive-theme-transger/page/7/

it seems that your update to 6.6.2 brought some of my images back but not all and in the backend I see no way to edit the gallery, there is no option in my setup?

When I copy the url of the Main image and I believe I also have the main image in the gallery I get the following path
    “http://www.cantrellmorgan.com/wp-content/themes/realtorpress/thumbs//”

actually after looking at the photos that do appear now the paths are to the old thumbs directory, I thought they were to suppose to migrated out of the thumbs to the uploads directory.

Should I start a support ticket?

I do not see any automatic updates? I must really be missing the plot here! Can someone actually detail how you update, (with or without activation), as I see no updates in my dashboard, but am on 6.5.8!

Dave – in the backend of your actually wordpress site, not your admin account here, you will goto “dashboard” then “updates” and it should be there.

FYI my wordpress site is now on 6.6.2 but my admin account here still says 6.5.8

Sorry, still not seeing any updates!! Could it be due to me running multi-site?

Sorry can’t help you as I have no knowledge regarding Premium Press themes and multisite installs. Sorry.

Something I noticed with 6.6.1 is that it broke the old version of the Google Maps on the front page (so, if you clicked on the business listing under the map, it wouldn’t bring up the box in the right hand corner of the map window any longer correctly).

Also, with the new Google Map, it would be very nice to be able to set coordinates and to zoom.

Must be a multi-site issue. As I see no updates in either the network or individual themes within the dashboard.

Dave, if your running milti-site you’ll need to install the multi-site updater plugin.
