Can anyone tell us where we can edit the details shown in the listing members "toolbox"? We want to add and remove a few things in the toolbox area but do not see where to edit the items shown.
The toolbox uses the [TOOLBOX] can include the details you want to show in the shortcode eg [TOOLBOX show=”views, rating”]
Thank you kindly. Pardon my newbie-ness 🙂 but we are only now learning how to work with wordpress and premium themes.
Just where do we edit the [toolbox] shortcode? what php page handles the listings page and it’s items? Can w do this using editor under appearance and if so, what page? (directory theme)
We tried your tip and it merely shows the actual text now that we type in the code.
<div class=”tab-pane active” id=”t1″>[TOOLBOX show=”experience,firsthourlyrate,views,comments,ratings,] [CONTENT] <hr /> [RELATED] </div>
<div class=”tab-pane” id=”t2″>[FIELDS hide=”map”]</div>
<div class=”tab-pane fade” id=”t4″>[COMMENTS tab=0]</div>
I hope this in the right php page….are we in the wrong place?
also how do we know what field names we can add? Is there a list or any dB field?
Only the fields listed here >> #TOOLBOX can be used currently
If any changes you make to the file reflect in your Listing Page then you are editing the correct file.
Thank you. 🙂
You’re a great day 🙂
Bumping this because I have the same issues as those talked about in the latter part of the above topic.
I am trying to remove Comments from Toolbox on the Listings Page (Directory Theme )
The existing code is
<div class=”tab-pane active” id=”t1″>[TOOLBOX] [CONTENT] <hr /> [RELATED] </div>
After reading the above and looking at the linked PP page,I have tried
<div class=”tab-pane active” id=”t1″>[TOOLBOX show=”views,social] [CONTENT] <hr /> [RELATED] </div>
to see what happens and all I get is the text – views, social – appearing on the page so I must be doing something incorrectly.
Confused and out of my depth!
@Patrick Your shortcode is should be
Thanks for that but sadly when I was copying and pasting into the post
I lost a ” – I know, I know …. I’M STUPID!
However, to be on the safe side I copied your code and got the same result as (I hope) can be seen below.
I had already visited the [TOOLBOX} page you suggested and was interested to note that in my original toolbox there are a couple of items not included in the mentioned allowed FIELDS Eg. Print and Add Favorites both of which I want to keep. This has added to my confusion!
Thanks again for your suggestion
All the best.
Sorry try this,
That worked a treat – Thank you very much indeed @Josh
You’re welcome a great day 🙂
