How do i know when there is available upgrades?
Whenever there is an upgrade released you will usually hear about it first on our blog or customer email, you can also check your WordPress admin area under the admin menu tab ‘theme updates’ and follow the instructions there to upgrade your website.
Which files have been modified?
All file modifications between versions are kept in our change logs which can be found on this page: http://premiumpress.com/updates/
What new features/fixes have been included?
We will release a blog post for each theme update that we release, within the blog post we will comment on the changes that have been made. Our blog can be found here;
How do i upgrade my theme?
To upgrade your website you simply need to overwrite the old files with the new ones. The upgrade installer in the admin area of our themes will try to install the updates for you however with many hosting providers disabling this functionality you may need to download the updated files and manually update theme.
The link to updated files is always available in the admin area under the ‘theme updates’ tab when a new version is available.
Doing a Full Reinstall/Update
Below you will find a quick video tutorial showing you how to do a full reinstall of the theme, this is often the best way to update your website if you have made no modification to theme files.
Problems with images after upgrade?
Ensure the thumbs and cache folders are CHMOD 777 otherwise images cannot be read and might not be displayed, also check to ensure the images actually exists (you have put them back)
