After the release of WordPress 3.0 of the 1st May 2010, we decided to adopt a regular release schedule every 4-6 months to coincide with new WordPress updates.
Newly added features will be primarily driven by ideas voted on by our users in our Feature Request Board.
The month prior to a release new features are frozen and the focus is entirely ensuring the quality of the release by eliminating bugs and profiling the code for any performance issues.
Every time we make changes to our themes we document all of the files we modify to help existing theme users to upgrade.
The change log for each of the themes we provide can be Found Here.
PremiumPress is currently running a special offer with GreenGeeks hosting saving you time and money on your hosting services and helping you get setup as quickly as possible. See video below (worth watching!)

Installing any of our PremiumPress themes is the same as installing any other WordPress theme. However you'll need to set up your theme options afterwards to have it functioning like our demo webistes.
Need more help? There are two ways to install any PremiumPress theme on your website, via the WordPress Admin Area (basic) or using an FTP file manager (advanced).
The official WordPress guide to theme installation can be found here.
All of our PremiumPress themes come with "sample website content", allowing you to quickly see how your website looks and feels. This option deletes all of the existing content on your WordPress website and installs the sample content as seen within our demonstration websites.
To install the demo content, simply login to your WordPress Admin Area after you have successfully installed your PremiumPress theme and click on 'General Setup' -> 'Reset to factory settings'.
All PremiumPress themes include lots of extra template layouts called child themes which allow you to choose the design for your website.
All child themes available at the time of your purchase come integrated within the PremiumPress theme download area, you can see/select which child theme you want to use after you have finished the theme installation by visiting the Admin Area page 'General Setup'.
Learn how to build your own PremiumPress child themes, click here.
All PremiumPress themes come with a number of unique page templates which transform normal WordPress pages into fully functional content pages such as contact pages, checkout pages, submission pages etc.
IMPORTANT: Once you have setup the page templates for your website, you need to then enter the page links into the Admin Area under 'General Setup -> Pages' to enable the buttons to work correctly.
WordPress allows you to organize and manage your website content with categories.
You can setup as many categories as you want in the WordPress Admin Area, once you have setup your categories, you can then choose which ones are displayed on your navigation menus and rearrange the display order.
Simply put, permalinks allow you to design the way your website links appear. By default they look like this;
http://mydomain.com/?p=12
The "?p=" part of the link references a post or page ID which isn't very useful unless you know the ID for every page on your website. It's a good idea to adjust the link appearance to something more practical such as;
http://mydomain.com/contact/
We recommend you use the Permalinks structure /%postname%/ because, in our experience, this is best for SEO and user navigation.
All PremiumPress themes come with a built-in Articles section, allowing you to keep the core blog functionality of WordPress within your business website. Articles are stored the same way as normal WordPress blog posts, however they have a special taxonomy post_type called "article_type".
You add articles in the Admin Area as normal under the 'Article Manager' section.
PremiumPress articles and FAQ options use a custom WordPress taxonomy called "article_type" and "faq_type" respectively. If your using a RSS feed or plugin, ensure you select the correct taxonomy to display your feeds.
PremiumPress themes come with lots of great features to help you personalize your website. To change colors, logos etc, simply login to the Admin Area and click on the 'display settings' tab.
PremiumPress user content (image and files) are all stored in the 'thumbs' folder (wp-content/themes/***/thumbs/) where *** is the name of your purchased PremiumPress theme.
You must ensure that the 'thumbs' folder and the 'cache' folder inside of the 'thumbs' folder have writable permissions, allowing images you upload to your website to be saved successfully. This video will show you how to CHMOD file to change permissions.
WordPress allows you to extend the functionality of your WordPress website by using 'add-ons' known as 'plugins. The official guide to WordPress plugins can be found here.
The list of recommended plugins for use with PremiumPress themes can be found here: http://www.premiumpress.com/plugins/
All PremiumPress themes work with the majority of updated WordPress plugins. However, since many WordPress plugins are not regularly updated by the plugin authors, there maybe times when installed plugins do not function correctly. All plugin support is provided by the plugin authors themselves and not by PremiumPress.
All of the PremiumPress theme have comprehensive integrated payment gateways. These include an option to input Bank Details, allowing you to accept payment for website submissions, products and services.
A payment gateway is a company that processes credit/debit card transactions on your behalf. They then pay into your bank account at a later date.
You can learn more about setting up payment gateways in PremiumPress using this link
All of the PremiumPress theme have a built-in theme update tool, making it easy for you to stay updated whenever we release new theme updates. You can check if any theme updates are available by logging into your WordPress Admin Area and clicking on 'Theme Updates'.
You can view theme updates and change logs here http://www.premiumpress.com/updates/ or learn how to update your theme here http://www.premiumpress.com/tutorial/how-to-upgrade-your-theme/
PremiumPress themes come integrated with a CSV import tool, allowing you to import and update your website listings using a single Excel spreadsheet. You can find this tool in your WordPress Admin Area under the theme option 'Tools' tab.
You can learn more about using CSV files here http://www.premiumpress.com/tutorial/importing-items-using-excel/.
