Where (which table) are custom fields keys stored?

when I brought over my old data to the new responsive theme the custom fields did not come over tho they are still in the database – I added the custom fields using the old keys but now I have double custom fields in the display of info etc. where are the custom fields keys, labels etc stored? what table?? thanks, Megan
