User Types – Vendors vs. Brides

I am working on building a wedding directory website.

Ideally I would have a different profile (and fields & functions) for each of my two users types. Vendors and Brides/Grooms.

Right now directory press is set up to accommodate the vendor group of users very well.
However I am not sure how to allow brides to register. I would like their profile fields to be different from the vendor group and perhaps have different functionality.

Is there a way to do this that I am not aware of?
