    Our top navigation bar (as seen in images) is blocked out by our logo banner at top left of the site. Only when the user is not logged in. Once they do login, the image and top navigation are again balanced. Weird!!!

    How can this happen and what can we do to fix this login / logout logo space alignment issue.

    Hello Anthony,
    Try the below code under Theme Setup >General Setup >Custom css

    .logged-in #core_header .container {
    padding-top: 20px;
    }

    Our theme is the new 8.3 and only has a custom footer and header css area.

    Do you mean add to footer? :–)

    Deign Setup >Custom Meta Data >Header Styles (wp_head)

    <style>
    .logged-in #core_header .container {

    }

    Thank you. Worked. However it also made the “banner adv” smaller on the right. Don’t think my advertising affiliates will be happy. Idea?

    Hi Anthony,

    You’re referencing the image, but what you want is one of it’s parent elements… like ‘core_logo

    The ‘#core_logo’ currently has a ‘margin-top’ value of ‘-20px’, so I’d probably reference that element instead, like…

    #core_logo {
        margin-top: 0;
    }
