Stuck in a small CSS change in header menu

Hi there,

I have stuck in doing small css changes in the header menu. I have changed the size (height: 40px) for the #core_menu_wrapper but the menu text, search bar, menu border position has distorted. I was trying with every div or class but, can’t get it.

I want to menu text in the middle of the menu bar, menu height 40px ( including the bottom padding 3px). The menu text with no shadow and search box in the right position with width 150px.

Any help ?
