Hi PremiumPress Community
I have Installed a SSL Certificate on my site.
I have install a couple of plugins to force the https:// on my site (including “Force SSL” and iThemes Security), however:
– It will not allow some parts to function – especially “Adding a Listing”
– Some font issues
– When adding listings, the page is showing as insecure
I have now installed “Really Simply SSL” and that seems to have worked up to a point, but when adding listings – it is showing as insecure
Why would this be happening and how can this be fixed?
As I have further tested this – the insecurities on the site only seem to appear when adding a listing
I have four packages – Free, £1, £2, £3 respectively
When I chose the Free and £1 package – they work fine – i.e. the https is showing
For the £2 and £3 package – the site is showing as insecure?
Can anyone help?
Found the issue
When I have included HTML content in the listing package, that particular listing page is showing as insecure – i.e http instead of https
Has anyone got a solution for this – besides not including it in the listing package?
Please send in a ticket so we can take a closer look at the issue >>http://s.premiumpress.com/index.php?/Tickets/Submit
This is because of the HTML editor within creating a listing.
Try creating another new package as a test demo and disable the HTML it from the package and will not show when creating or editing a listing.
I personally prefer to disable it because I have seen listings that used it and the text become scribble when some browsers dont recognize the fonts.
Thank you for this – since I have disabled that enhancement – the SSL certificate is working fine.
However, do you know of anyway around this before I submit a ticket?
I dont know why this video isn’t shared with everyone, I uploaded last year
Tells me if this works ?
