Required attributes checkbox not working

If I have two attributes set up for a product and both have the ‘required?’ box checked, I can still place the product in my cart without by only selecting an option on one of the attributes.

Whats more, I can click ‘add to cart’ without selecting an option on either attributes, I will get two error popups telling me to select a value, but the item has actually been placed in the cart anyway.
