WordPress Business Themes › Forums › Responsive Themes › Coupon Theme › Replace Footer Widget with actual menu / Get rid of newsletter widget /
At the bottom of the page, there are 4 areas with text ( as seen in the screenshot ).
I would like to replace some of them with an actual menu and some of them leave as text.
How to do this? Unfortunately, I cannot find the settings for this?
I would like to get rid of the Newsletter widget as well. Thank you.
How to add a new customized contact form to a new page ( I want to add and remove some fields )
( I don’t want to delete the original one, but to create a new one which will be used on a new page )
Q1 & Q2 – See attached image. These can be found under “Appearance >> Widgets”. Add/edit/remove the footer and sidebar widgets
Q3 – You would add the page under “Pages”
Thanks , I managed to delete the Newsletter thing.
However, how can I replace the text box with a menu box?
I am interested to have a menu there instead of any other widget from that list.
I understand that I can create a new page and put the contact form in there.
However, how can I customise the contact form ( not the page ).
For example, the contact form has NOW the following fields:
What is the sum of 5 + 5 ? *
I want to have a new contact form in a new page with other fields, for example:
or any other combination.
I hope this is more clear now.
Thank you for your assistance!
There isn’t an easy or clear-cut way that I’m aware of to do what you want.
The contact form template is located at ‘/CP/tpl-contact.php’. It should help give you an idea of what’s used and the layout.
If you’re using an autoresponder service then more than likely they have the form HTML you can use and you may need to have some theme and styling customization done and/or find a plugin that does what you need.
If it helps… on the page you create for the new contact page you can select “[Contact Form]” for the Template to use.
You can use “Custom HTML” widget to place the menu HTMLin the footer.
If you’re unable to do it yourself or don’t know anyone that can help, then I’d recommend taking a look at :
For adding Menu in widget use the Blank Widget Area or the Text widget and add the links using Anchor tag (https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_a.asp) You can also use the Pages widget to add pages if your menu is made up of pages
