Note you should download this plugin from your admin area under the extra plugins tab within the responsive theme options.
This is a beta plugin, its beta because although its worked on 100% of the sites iv tried so far, iv only tried 24 sites so its not enough to say its 100%.
Use this plugin to transfer your posts and basic content from the non-responsive version to the new responisve version.
Note, this is for content only, NOT design or customization. Those cannot be transfered.
Hello again Mark,
Installed plugin first. Just installed the new responsive theme, and it rocks!
But not sure how to get the plugin to import from posts to listings, hope I’m not being stupid 🙂
LOL ignore that last post, I was being stupid.
Found the PremiumPress link, at bottom of theme options.
Import seems to have worked fine, to let everyone know 🙂
🙂 thanks for letting me know, i guess thats 25 successful then:)
It looks like we have to recreate the listing category structure before running the plugin am I right? Is there anything else we need to recreate so that the listings will sync up correctly?
OK just taken a closer look, and the Category has not transferred over to the new listings, and also I was using a Location Taxonomy before, but do not see option for that on listing pages either.
Just wondering if the location taxonomy will be supported in the new version.
All looks great tho, and love the customizations in the new one, and the features for the new listings!
ill check the category options and see if i can get them to transfer also.
there will be a taxonomy plugin shortly so you can keep using it.
ok done, was easy actually, will update the download now.
Category import works great now.
One thing though. I have custom fields set for external links and when I click on it I get a 404. The links look like this:
Hi, it seems work fine for me. Thanks Mark.
@idir, np 🙂
@Travis link doesnt load for me
Oops, I don t find my articles and categories blog in responsive version. Also no coupon in categories and no translation !
there isnt an ‘articles’ option in this theme its just the normal blog. Translations wont copy over as its a whole new framework.
OK, Thanks Mark.
so what happened on mine : the custom fields came over too but it created the same named membership pcgs too that cannot be deleted /edited….whats next ? :/
