Membership access

I have auction theme and I have created a membership that is free..but people must register in order to access site…

I have restricted access to this “free membership” for every page..but it only seems to work on a few pages…when the “public” hit the menu to navigate…some take them to the page to register while others allow them to see the page….nobody should see any pages (except home) unless they register…

on my dating site it works on every page but it shows a “no access to this page”..

.the ones here on auction theme just seem to send them to a login page (the ones that do seem to restrict)…so my members page shows to public…even though I restricted it…and the ones that do seem to restrict just bring the person to login page…Am I missing something?
