Listings Nearby link returns incorrect map locations

I’ve mentioned this before and have removed the feature on my own site until it is rectified. I thought I’d mention it again though, as the problem still exists as you can see from the screenshot I took of one of the showcased websites.

The problem is this:
When viewing listings on the search results page, there is a little (i) icon next to the listing location. When hovering over this icon, two options are revealed, “Get Directions | Listings Nearby”. When clicking the listings nearby link, a new page with a map is displayed. However, the location on the map is NOT in the same country as the listing (as shown in the website screenshot) and nearby listings are not shown. The photo example I have provided displays a map with the marker in Norway, but the listing location is in Western Australia – a distance of 21 hours and 30 minutes by plane (as shown in the map screenshot).

On another showcased website, the Listings Nearby link displays a map of South Dakota USA when the listing is in Indonesia and there are several other listings also in Indonesia.

Just to check if it has been fixed in the latest update, I’ve just installed the latest DT 6.6.1 on my test server and added two listings with addresses within 5klms of each other. The result is the same. The map only shows the listing I began the process with and the map location shows Belgium not Australia.

Just to confirm, I have also entered Australian coordinates in the Google Map Settings – Add/Listing Page section of the General Settings > Submission Settings page.

The feature does seem to work on the Demo Directory site, so I suspect that it must be something to do with the way the code handles zip/postcodes from other countries.
