    Have tried to apply the listing carousel on several Themes and it does not appear to randomise using:

    orderby=IDorder=desc&posts_per_page=8

    Can anyone offer a solution?

    @Mike, how can it ‘randomize’ it when you are telling it to order it by ID in descending order?

    Am pretty clueless about composing the shortcode.

    So I will experiment with:

    orderby=rand=8

    😯 that does not make sense. Try:

    order=rand&posts_per_page=8
