Incomplete Featured Listings showing in Carousel

I’ve set up a Carousel on my home page and would like it to show only Featured Listings. I set the query to be: meta_key=featured&meta_value=yes, but it only shows 13 of the 20 featured listings. I’ve tried re-saving the listings, turning the “featured” setting on and off, and none of it has any effect.

Since all the featured listings are the same membership package, I tried using the query string: meta_key=packageID&meta_value=2 and while this shows 14 of the listings, there are still 6 missing.

I searched the forum and found this from Josh:

“Open the file home-layout-directory1.php located in your Theme files or from Appearance >Editor.Locate this line [LISTINGS dataonly=1 show=20] change it to [LISTINGS dataonly=1 show=20 custom=”featured”]”

But that didn’t do anything at all.

Does anyone have a solution to this, please?
