How to get the banner add to hyperlink?

    I am struggling with the Advertising portion of the Auction Theme. I have uploaded a couple of banners, and they show up fine, but you can’t click on them to be taken to the advertiser’s website in another tab. I tried standard html in the banner code section but it doesn’t work. Any thoughts or suggestions?
