How to attribute a classified to other author ?

    I am adding manually Classifieds to other companies and I am appearing as the Author.

    How can I change the attribution of the post to another Author ?

    I know that in Directory Press exists a Claiming this Listing, but this feature doesn't exist in Classified Theme.

    Hey Fernando, Under the 2nd Classifieds tab in the admin area you will see some options,

    Classifieds
    Add Classified
    Categories
    Classified Tags

    If you have already created the listing go to the Classifieds option and edit the listing, at the bottom of the page is an Author option you can change the Author there, keep in mind they must be an Author AND be set to at least Contributor for the user to show in that list.

    If your creating new listings you could create them from the Add Classified and just select the Author you want while creating the add.

    That is correct Gregory, but if I give the Attributes as an Author or Contributor they will have access to my Dashboard and I am trying to avoid that.

    Change their Attribute back after you have made the author changes...the other way would be to login as that user and creating the listings.

    You could do this through the DB if you wanted...it would just take extra time.

    I like the idea of changing their status after them creating lists back to Subscriber...

    Hopefully in the future Classified Themes will have the same Claiming List as in Directory Press
