Fetch Meta Tags for URL listings in DP

    After some feedback from specifically Sean I have made some mods to the Fetch Meta Plugin due for release on 1/3/12

    Originally just hooked up to work with the All in One SEO plugin, it will also now post to Gregs SEO plugin, and the Platinum SEO plugin.

    I have looked at the Yoast plugin as well, but the table and field creation in the database differs from the above, so I will have to let this stand over for an upgrade at some stage when I have some time.

    I am finailizing the plugin now, and will make a download link available on 1/3/12.

    You will find it at the link above on that date. I will provide links to tutorial, installation guide, update guide as well as feature requests at that stage as well.

    Test Results : Using two db, on different domains with different data, I submitted the first 8000 automated links to Google, and within 10 days had 200 pages indexed.

    Adding the plugin, and doing the same again - in the same period I managed to get 5000 links indexed.

    Go figure

    I have updated the fetch meta plugin now for DP V5, 6 and 7. Any future plugin releases which are FREE will only be for DP7. You can get the download details and links at the homepage for the Fetch Meta Plugin.

    yeah that wd be great Mark, have a couple of these to share. I am not going to go down the V5, V6 and V7 route though

    Just V7 I think will sort most users out, and can always help individuals out

    Look forward to V7 .... but won't mention it

    Sean, re: "I look forward to testing out your plugins next month Danie! Especially the map plugin." Have you not tested V.7.02 yet? It already has this feature right in the submission form. I tested it, it works. I also started a new post for the new V. You can post bugs there.

    Danie, I'm speaking specifically about RP V.7.02. I can't comment on other PPT's since I'm involved with this one theme. So you might want to activate it, go to submission page set up, make one ad package and click "submit" on frontend and see if it's what you are offering?     Another week or so, and I will add an ''update'' for this plugin. If you have a number of listings already in your database, the upgarde will provide the opportunity to update all your listings at once. Kindof a meta tag update feature. It will work with any version of DP, as it will only be using the URL field from the db.

    That shd resolve the issue in regards the feedback I had.
