Hi Mark…
Custom expiry is back up and running in 5.4… thanks for fixing.
But I’ve found a small issue. If I use the expiry setup function now, the only way I can get it to work is if my users enter their own number of days (via a standard input field) to end the auction.
Pre-5.3, the function worked by letting users pick a specific date from a calendar (by selecting “date” as the input field format in the custom field setup area). This creates a better user experience.
From what I understand the code now looks for a number of days (rather than a date from a calendar) to end the auction when using custom expiry functions.
Is this something that can be changed back to the way it was? While the function works correctly now, I got spoiled in the pre 5.3 era using that calendar and I miss it! 😥
Let us know what’s doable here. By previous posts on this topic, I know there are several other AT users who are interested in this topic.
