    perhaps you can help me with my directory theme. Not getting much help fro Forum or support. How to I place (add liting) button on home page. I’ve tried HTML code, plugin short code, but nothing shows up. I’ve also tried changing the css style sheet for BUTTON but still id not work

    you are using premade template if u wanna customize this entire home page according to your requirement you have to use PremiumPress Page Builder

    install PremiumPress Page Builder

    then create one static page and set it your home page from setting>reading

    second option is use Old Home Page Editor

    go to Design Set > Old Home Page Editor

    enable it

    Hello Melanie,
    Please go to Appearance >Editor >home-layout-directory1.php and add a button code where you want the button to appear.
    For example:

    
    < a href="http://www.premiumpress.com/" class="btn btn-primary" >Add Listing</a>
    

    Replace http://www.premiumpress.com/ with your Add listing page link
