I personally don't use the Amazon checkout and just send people to Amazon. You get the same commission, and even if the people don't buy on the spot, but buy something else later, you get the credit for sending the customers there.

I am a new user of ShopperPress and am experiencing the same issue. It appears that although ShopperPress selects the lowest available price, in order to actually purchase the product at that price through Amazon you would have to click the link next to the lowest price shown on the Amazon page which takes you to a page that shows a list of different companies that have that same product and what their price is. You can then select the company you want to buy it from.
I don't think ShopperPress incorporates this little detour when taking the customer to the Amazon checkout.

Shopperpress shows both the lowest and the highest price in the post when it imports but only uses the highest price when going through the shopping cart. I would have thought this was a shopperpress problem.

Take a look at http://littlebubs.co.nz and go to maternity, then DreamGenii pillow place it in the shopping cart and have a look when in the checkout. You will see a lower price in the right column in RED and then you will see a higher price (which is passed to Amazon) when proceeding to Amazon. This is in the left column in shopperpress

You would have to ensure that Amazon reports the correct price in their product feed API. It is not fault of ShopperPress. ShopperPress displays the price that is given to it by Amazon. it does not search for lowest and highest price. The was price is what it says, the old price (reported by Amazon).

This is exactly the same for me at http://littlebubs.co.nz/

Is there a solution to this problem?

It seems to me that ShopperPress finds the lowest price when doing its search in Amazon for products, and also show the current buy new price (which it strikes thorugh in the display). Therefore the client thinks they are getting the product at the lowest price, but when in the checkout area, Whilst the lowest price is shown in Red in the right column, the left colum shows the Buy New price which is the highest price.

How can we ensure the client ONLY sees and buys the right price (ie the highest price) as this is what they see when they go to Amazon?

After importing items from Amazon it also populates the current price as well as the old price. What I am finding out during checkout after the buyer is presented with the "Buy it now from Amazon link" the part where it shows your order ID is displaying the value for the old price while the cart item is showing the current pricing. Clicking on the "buy it now from amazon link" will use the old price to charge the buyer instead of the amount listed on the cart! I have doubled checked what prices are listed on the current and old price input box to make sure it is correct.

Here is a screen shot: http://wordpress.joealdeguer.com/forum-help/amazon-pricing.png
